About Stephanie
Passionate about all things paper, pens and stationery, writing by hand is her yoga. And remembers the very first stationery store she visited as a child.
Having made her first handbound book in 2007 Stephanie fell into the rich world of book and paper arts.
Stephanie refined her bookbinding skills with Susan Mills in New York City, learned to make paper by hand while interning at Paperhouse Studio in Toronto and worked for award-winning indie paper mill, Papeterie St-Armand, in Montreal.
She has worked in independent stationery and art shops, toured Book Arts Centres and paper mills across North America, Europe and Tanzania; earned a BFA, exhibited her handbound books in Montreal and Toronto; interviewed Canadian artists in-studio; and published art and written work in academic journals, online publications, and in the press.
